Perch Day 2023 brought together almost all of the now 200-strong Perch Group team working across its debt purchase, collections, litigation and reconnection businesses for a fun-filled away day of team-building activities.
Perch Group CEO Craig Hinchliffe introduced the day by thanking the team for their contribution to the company’s growth over the last 12 months, including:
He also highlighted the business’ successes in areas such as customer care, ESG, ISO 9001/ 27001 accreditation, and implementation of new technologies and systems before setting out the management team’s ambitious plans for the next 12 months focusing on further diversification and digitisation with FCA Consumer Duty and people development being top priorities.
The team were then transported to Hoole House in Elswick near Preston where they were greeted with an impressive set up of outdoor activities from inflatable obstacle courses to sumo wrestling! Staff were treated to gourmet burgers, pizzas and ice cream to fuel them for a day of competitive tussling to be named the winning team, before moving to a nearby karaoke bar for the evening’s entertainment.
Craig comments:
“Perch Group was established in 2018 so this was in theory our fifth birthday party. Following the MBO, supported by Quilam Capital last year, we are excited about supporting new clients and see ourselves as a competitive player in the purchase and collections market taking ‘a different approach’ to debt resolution driven by an industry-leading, highly experienced management team.
“After such a busy year of growth and development, it was fantastic to get everyone together, including the many newcomers that have joined us, for some lighthearted fun and cross department team building to thank them for all their hard work. There was a real buzz about the day and sense of excitement about the future of the business. We can’t wait to drive forward our plans over the next year and do it all again with an even bigger team and even more successes to celebrate at Perch Day 2024.”
