Perch Group has been through a period of rapid growth since undergoing a management buy-out in 2022, developing its group of companies; debt purchaser Perch Capital, debt recovery specialist ACI and litigation firm TM Legal, and launching revolutionary customer reconnection and verification business Verify. The Group has attracted significant funding to fuel its growth, expanded across the North of England with new offices in Skipton and Manchester city centre to supplement its Blackpool headquarters, and grown its headcount to more than 200, attracting some of the best talent in the industry.
Craig Hinchliffe, CEO, Perch Group, says:
“Of all our successes in recent years, being shortlisted as the Best Company to Work for in our industry is up there as a milestone moment. We are a business that is ‘powered by technology’ but ‘driven by people’ and our ability to attract and retain top talent, as well as develop and nurture long-standing team members as we go through rapid change, is vital to us. This is recognition that we’re being recognised as an employer of choice in a sector that hasn’t traditionally been appealing to candidates and during a time when recruitment and retention is becoming increasingly challenging for employers across the board.”
Gary Jones, MD of Verify, adds:
“Verify was launched to shed new light on what good outcomes actually look like in the modern market, finding new alternatives to out-dated field practices that are ‘fit for the future’ for both clients and customers; customers who don’t choose to be customers but trust us to support them. The use of market-leading technology from our purpose-built app and case management system, to field audio and the use of QR codes on letters and in field, are based around streamlining and tailoring the customer journey. This is the second credit industry ‘Best Use of Technology’ award we’ve been shortlisted for, giving us and our clients confidence that we’re at the cutting edge.”
The Credit Strategy Collections & Vulnerability Awards 2024 will be held on 12 November in Manchester.
