Testimonials

Hear from our people...

Kevin Woods – Head of Operations, ACI

I’ve been with Perch for 5 years, and one thing that has never changed is the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of the role. No two days are the same, and I thrive on that challenge!

As clich? as it may sound, it’s the people who make this job truly enjoyable. I’m lucky to collaborate with my fantastic teams in Blackpool, Manchester, and Skipton, as well as incredible agents in South Africa – some of whom I now consider lifelong friends. Every individual brings their own personality, experience, and energy, and my role allows me to work alongside them to deliver the best results possible.

The job isn’t easy, but that’s exactly why I love it. We face tough days together, support one another, and celebrate successes as one big team. I genuinely feel like I have people’s backs – and they have mine. Time flies when you’re part of a team like this, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love my job.

Jack Singh – Performance Manager

Perch Group has a clear strategic direction, strong governance, and a culture that balances high performance with integrity. There is a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, and people are given the opportunity to develop their skills, progress in their careers, and contribute to meaningful, long-term outcomes.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is seeing first-hand the positive impact we make on our customers’ lives. Knowing that our work genuinely helps people is both motivating and inspiring.

What truly sets Perch apart is the calibre of its people. I work alongside talented, solutions-focused colleagues who support one another and take pride in delivering high-quality results. The leadership team is approachable, transparent, and decisive, which builds trust, alignment, and a strong sense of purpose across the organisation.

Overall, Perch Group is a place where hard work is recognised, development is encouraged, and you feel proud to be part of something meaningful.

Kieran Bryan – Junior Software Configuration Analyst

I have been with Perch since July 2022, starting as a Case Manager before progressing to Senior Case Manager and now into my current role as a Junior Software Configuration Analyst. What I enjoy most about working here is the culture and the people.

The team is fun, hardworking, and supportive, and there’s a real sense of togetherness across the business. Events like Perch Days keep morale high and make the workplace genuinely enjoyable. Leanne Casey – Office Manager

I’ve been the Office Manager at Perch since September 2021, and it’s been such a positive journey.

We’re always looking for ways to improve, with genuine openness to ideas and feedback. Our leadership team truly cares about the staff and the environment we work in. It’s not just about getting the job done – we do it well, support each other, and grow together.

While technology drives our excellence, it’s the people behind it who make the difference. I’m proud to be part of our Perch family and excited to keep growing together.

Michelle Hutchison – Head of Customer

Working at Perch is genuinely rewarding. What has been consistent to me from the start is the commitment and drive throughout the whole business – there’s a real want to do things the right way and to support one another.

As Head of Customer, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape how we show up for customers, this is embedded in our culture – people care, they collaborate, and they want to make things better.

It’s a place where you’re trusted to lead, encouraged to challenge constructively, and supported to grow. The balance of working in an evolving and dynamic business that cares is what makes Perch special to me.

Meet the team

Charlotte Parkin – Talent Acquisition Officer

I joined as a university graduate in 2017, starting in the call centre where I worked closely with customers. It was a highly rewarding role that gave me valuable insight into the debt industry, as well as the importance of delivering first-class customer care. Perch strongly believes in internal progression, and I’ve been fortunate to benefit from this culture. I first moved into a HR Advisor role and later progressed to a Talent Acquisition Officer position. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team and supportive executive leaders. What I value most about working at Perch Group is the people, along with the culture of learning and collaboration – something I hope to bring into your career here.

Alexis Cole – Talent Acquisition Officer

Through the incredible support of my team and wider peers, I quickly progressed into a Talent Acquisition Officer role and have thoroughly enjoyed my journey so far. I’m in a very fortunate position to be able to work with employees across the business to recruit amazing talent just like you! Perch provides a wealth of opportunity to develop yourself in a business that prides itself on an inclusive and welcoming culture. So, what are you waiting for? Submit that application!

FAQs

Have a question?
We've got the answers.

Of course! If you feel your skills and experience align to one or more opportunities at Perch, we welcome your application to as many as you would like to apply for. Your CV will be submitted to each hiring manager individually for review.

We aim to get back to all candidates within 2-3 weeks of applying. For more popular roles, this can take a little longer so please bear with us!

When shortlisted for any role at Perch, the first stage all candidates go through is a screening call with the Talent Acquisition team. This is a short 15-minute call where we cover the basics around the business and the role and lightly touch on your experience (no formalities at this point, promise!).

The next stage depends on the area of the business you are applying for. For example, technical roles will require a technical test prior to a formal interview, whereas a support role may require an introductory call with the hiring manager before moving onto the formal interview. With each role varying, we will always endeavour to put the application process towards the end of a job advert so that you know what to expect. Our Talent Acquisition team will also confirm this during your screening call and are always happy to provide additional clarity if needed.

We always recommend heading to Perch’s website to get a brief understanding of the business and our values as this demonstrates your interest in a career at Perch.

You should prepare various answers based upon your skills and experience that reflect the duties of the role you have applied for found in the job description.

We do not offer remote working for any of our roles but do offer flexible working arrangements for the majority. Please refer to the job description for specifics or ask the Talent Acquisition Officer managing the role you have applied for.

Operations-based roles (e.g. phone-based agents) are fully office-based

At this time, we do not offer internships. It is, however, something we are looking into so watch this space!

As Perch Group is a financial services business, DBS and Credit Checks are an essential part of the hiring process and cannot be refused. This is to comply with strict regulatory requirements, mitigate the risk of financial crime, and ensure the honest and integral status of their employees.

We understand that anyone can find themselves in financial difficulty for a wide variety of reasons, and so we encourage the checks not to deter you from applying if this is a situation you have found yourself in either now or in the past. Cases are assessed on an individual basis. If you have questions or concerns around this, our Talent Acquisition team are happy to talk this through with you confidentially to provide further clarity.

No. Whilst having experience in the debt industry is desirable, it is not essential criteria for our call centre & operations roles. We review all CVs thoroughly and look for any skills that are transferable which will allow you to succeed in the role.

The shift pattern varies depending on both the company and the role you have applied for. Please refer to the job description for specifics. The Talent team will also cover this during your screening call if selected.

At Perch, we are continuously looking for ways to improve our systems and services in order to provide the best outcomes to our customers.
