About Our Team

Perch Group houses data-driven services spanning the entire debt lifecycle, including BPO services, debt collection, debt purchase, reconnection, and litigation services. Working in the second line of defence of the Group’s three lines of defence model, this role is responsible for developing a comprehensive compliance monitoring plan and carrying out compliance monitoring reviews to ensure that the business is meeting its regulatory obligations. Your closer team will include Risk and Compliance, with you being led by the Group Risk and Compliance Director. You will most often work with the Risk and Compliance department and the Operational areas of the organisation.

 

 

You’ll make a major contribution by…

  • Designing and executing comprehensive compliance monitoring plans to assess adherence to regulatory requirements across all business lines.
  • Working with the wider Risk & Compliance team to understand the Risk & Compliance environment and the impact this has on the compliance monitoring plan.
  • Performing compliance monitoring reviews to provide assurance to the Board and sub-committees.
  • Driving continuous improvement across the business adding value to improve regulatory and customer outcomes.
  • Pro-actively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Staying abreast of evolving regulatory landscape and industry best practice.
  • Supporting team members by engaging/mentoring to share knowledge and provide guidance.
  • Supporting business growth by knowledge share.

 

 

You should apply for this role if you have…

  • Extensive knowledge of consumer credit regulation, anti-money laundering and data privacy requirements.
  • Firm understanding of the regulatory landscape including Consumer Duty.
  • The ability to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions to inform compliance decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey compliance risks and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • A professional, proactive independent thinking approach and can work and drive forward key activities under own initiative.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing compliance monitoring plans.
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience working in a compliance monitoring role in a FCA regulated debt purchase, debt collection agency or consumer credit firm.
  • Experience of completing thematic reviews and producing detailed monitoring reports.

What’s In It For You

  •  £50,000 – £60,000 + up to 20% of your annual salary, paid as a bonus.
